Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all purchases made through the website operated by Art to Hang.

By placing an order on the website, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions without reservation.

These Terms may be updated at any time. The version applicable to an order is the one in force at the time the order is placed.

3. Products

Art to Hang sells physical art prints through its online store.

Product descriptions, dimensions, visuals and prices are displayed on the website as accurately as possible. However, slight variations may occur, especially in relation to color rendering, as display settings may differ from one screen to another.

Unless clearly stated otherwise, frames and decorative accessories shown in product images are not included.

4. Orders

Orders are placed directly through the website.

Once the order has been completed and payment has been successfully received, the customer will receive an order confirmation by email. Art to Hang reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in case of suspected fraud, payment issues, incorrect information, or any abnormal order.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that all billing, shipping and contact information provided at checkout is accurate and complete.

5. Prices

All prices displayed on the website are shown in [insert currency] and are those in effect at the time of the order.

Art to Hang reserves the right to change prices at any time, but such changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

Shipping costs, if applicable, are shown at checkout before payment.

If payment is refused, cancelled, disputed or flagged as suspicious, Art to Hang reserves the right to suspend or cancel the order.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Art to Hang ships worldwide.

Orders are shipped to the delivery address provided by the customer during checkout. The customer is solely responsible for the accuracy of this information. Any additional costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address may be charged to the customer.

Delivery times are provided for information purposes only and may vary depending on the destination, shipping carrier, customs processing, seasonal demand or events beyond Art to Hang’s control.

If no specific delivery date is agreed, the order will be delivered within a reasonable period and, where required by applicable law, no later than thirty (30) days from order confirmation.

Art to Hang is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs authorities or circumstances outside its reasonable control.

8. Damaged or Lost Parcels

The customer must inspect the package upon delivery.

If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, the customer should, where possible, report it to the carrier and contact Art to Hang as soon as possible at hello@art-to-hang.com, including clear photos of:

• the outer packaging,

• the shipping label,

• the damaged item.

If a parcel is lost in transit, Art to Hang will review the situation with the carrier and decide, depending on the circumstances, whether a replacement, refund or other solution is appropriate.

9. Right of Withdrawal / Returns

If the customer is a consumer and applicable law grants a right of withdrawal, the customer may exercise that right within fourteen (14) days from receiving the goods, unless a legal exception applies.

To exercise this right, the customer must contact Art to Hang at hello@art-to-hang.com before the withdrawal period expires.

Returned items must be sent back in their original condition, unused and properly protected.

Unless otherwise required by law, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Once the return is received and inspected, Art to Hang will process the refund in accordance with applicable law.

Important

If certain products are made to the customer’s specifications or are clearly personalized, the right of withdrawal may not apply where permitted by law.

10. Refunds

Where a refund is due, it will be issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

Art to Hang may delay the refund until the returned item has been received or until proof of return shipment has been provided, whichever comes first, where allowed by law.

Refunds will not be granted for items that have been damaged after delivery due to misuse, improper handling, improper storage or normal wear and tear.

11. Product Issues

If the customer receives a wrong item, a defective product, or an item damaged before delivery, they must contact hello@art-to-hang.com as soon as possible and provide relevant details and photos.

If the issue is confirmed, Art to Hang may offer, depending on the case, a replacement, refund, store credit or another appropriate solution.

12. Legal Guarantees

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply under the law of the customer’s country of residence where such rights cannot legally be excluded.

Customers may benefit from legal guarantees, including conformity and hidden defects protections, where applicable.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on the website, including but not limited to artworks, prints, images, text, branding, logos, designs and product visuals, is protected by intellectual property laws.

The purchase of a print does not transfer any intellectual property rights. Customers may not reproduce, scan, copy, distribute, resell commercially, modify or exploit the artworks or website content without prior written permission from Art to Hang.

14. Limitation of Liability

Art to Hang shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of products sold on the website, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.

Art to Hang is not responsible for:

• delays caused by carriers or customs,

• errors made by the customer when placing the order,

• misuse or improper handling of the products after delivery,

• website interruptions or technical issues beyond reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation would be unlawful.

15. Force Majeure

Art to Hang shall not be held responsible for failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, transport disruptions, customs delays, strikes, war, cyber incidents or supply chain issues.

16. Privacy

Personal data collected through the website is used only for order processing, customer service, fraud prevention and any other legitimate business purpose described in the website’s Privacy Policy.

17. Governing Law
